A small on-board question
Do we provide Wi-Fi in the van?
The answer: Both. We love conversation, shared moments and watching the landscape through the windows. When you would like to connect, explore or learn more digitally, our Wi-Fi and field guide are here too. Both approaches are welcome.

Small company · local heart
Our story
Since the beginning of 2018, our small and friendly company has specialised in mostly mountain-based adventures, led by local guides who want every guest to have a safe, challenging and fulfilling day.
What we do
We love our beautiful country and its nature—and we want you to love it too. We show you the natural beauty as a friend would: away from impersonal crowds, with no rush and plenty of time.
Bohemia Adventures began with hiking in Bohemian–Saxon Switzerland. It grew to include mountain biking, e-biking, road cycling, horseback riding, photography tours, via ferrata and rock climbing, plus tailor-made itineraries and multi-day adventures.
Read the complete original story
Our aim is to exceed your expectations by bringing local experience and knowledge, careful selection of activities, terrain and environment, and exceptional client care.
The idea was to create a friendly guide service in the Czech Republic based out of Bohemian–Saxon Switzerland National Park. With the destination’s growing popularity outside Prague, this made a great home for genuine local adventures.
We support responsible tourism
On our tours we respect nature, local people and neighbourhoods. We listen to them and share their stories and personal recommendations. We also support projects that help realise a responsible and sustainable vision for the national park.
It is our pleasure to have you on board today. Thank you for choosing our team for your special moments and for being brave enough to leave the comfortable hotel sofa to discover what our small country can offer. Our team is here for you, and we will do our best to make your day unforgettable.

National park primer
Bohemian Switzerland
This natural gem appeared alongside places such as Yosemite and the Galápagos in the travellers’ selection 501 Must-Visit Wild Places.
The park’s curious name was inspired by two 19th-century Swiss artists who settled here because it reminded them of their homeland.
Its sandstone landscapes enchanted filmmakers too: scenes from The Chronicles of Narnia were filmed here.
Today it draws hikers, cyclists, climbers and nature lovers from around the world.

Gateway village
Hřensko & the Kamenice Gorge
Hřensko is the natural starting point for marked trails into a dreamlike landscape of water, moss, sandstone walls, tunnels and footbridges.
- Some stretches through the gorges are travelled only in small boats with a local boatman.
- The first boat trip in the Czech Republic where a gondola-style boat carries visitors through the protected first zone of the national park.
- Clear water, high rock walls, ferns and forest shade give the gorge its irresistible atmosphere.

Pravčická Gate
The main natural attraction of Bohemian Switzerland National Park—and Europe’s largest natural sandstone arch—is impressive from every angle.
The walls of chronicles
Tisa Rocks
Tiské stěny is a sandstone labyrinth in the protected landscape of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Its cliffs and towers rise up to around 80 metres above the village of Tisá.
Millions of years of weathering carved corridors, windows and towers into shapes that invite imagination. It is an atmospheric, family-friendly walk and a favourite setting for film locations.
Field note
Slow down here. The best details are often above eye level—or hiding around the next sandstone corner.
Saxon Switzerland
Bastei Bridge
A dramatic rock formation roughly 194 metres above the Elbe River, with sweeping views across the Elbe Sandstone Mountains of Germany.
The viewpoint reaches about 305 metres above sea level and has welcomed visitors for more than two centuries.
